Vous visitez le quartier juif avec la synagogue Klaus, la synagogue Vieille Nouvelle et Maisel, l’église Saint-Nicolas, la place de la Vielle-Ville dominée par l’église du Tyn, l’Hôtel de ville de la Vieille-Ville avec l’horloge historique, vous empruntez des ruelles anciennes qui vous conduiront, après avoir passé le collège jésuite Clementinum, l’église du Saint-Sauveur et l’église de Saint-François Séraphin à la place Krizovnicke (de croisiers) avec la Tour du pont de la Vielle-Ville. Nous terminons notre visite sur le pont Charles, construit sous le règne de Charles IV et orné de sculptures uniques.

Le Château de Prague

Cette visite guidée comprend le transfert des clients de la rue Brehova au Château de Prague.

La visite du Château de Prague, siège des rois de Bohême, commence devant le bâtiment du Manège du Château de Prague. Puis on passe à côté du Jardin royal et on traverse le pont Poudrière pour atteindre la deuxième cour avec la chapelle de la Sainte-Croix. On visite aussi la première cour avec la porte d’entrée, la troisième cour avec la cathédrale Saint-Guy, le Vieux palais Royal, la basilique Saint-Georges, et d’autres monuments historiques figurant parmi les joyaux de l’architecture tchèque. Le belvédère du palais Lobkowitz offre une vue magnifique du quartier de Mala Strana et de la Vieille-ville.

Nous terminons la promenade à Klarov, au pied du vieil escalier du Château.

The tour covers the Jewish Quarter with the Klaus, Old-New and Maisel synagogues, St. Nicholas Church, the Old Town Square with the Tyn cathedral, you will be able to visit the Old Town Hall with the historical astronomical clock, ancient winding lanes will take you to the Clementinum library complex, St. Salvatore Church and the Church of St. Francesco of Assisi in the Křížovnické square with the Old Town Bridge Tower. The tour ends on the Charles Bridge that was built during the rule of Charles IV in the second half of the 14the century and is decorated with unique statues.

Transfer is arranged from the meeting place in Břehová Street or from your hotel if located in the historical city centre to the Prague Castle.

 

The tour of the Prague Castle, the seat of Czech kings, begins at the Riding School, leads past the Royal Garden over the Powder Bridge and to the 2nd courtyard with the Chapel of St. Cross. In the 1st courtyard, you can admire its magnificent gate, and then proceed to the 3rd courtyard with the St. Vitus Cathedral. Then you will see the Old Royal Palace, the St. George Basilica, as well as many other gems of Czech architecture. A lookout at the Lobkowitz Palace offers a wonderful view of the Lesser Town and the Old Town.

 

The tour ends at the foot of the Old Castle Stairway in Klarov.

Vyšehrad (with entrances)

One of the oldest residences in Prague situated above the river Vltava, emblazoned with legends of old Czech mythology.

Castle built on rock Vyšehrad, originally called Chrasten, was founded in the 10th century. Time of the greatest glory of Vyšehrad was in the 11th st. when it became the seat of the first Czech king Vratislav I. After 1364 St. Peter and Paul cathedral was reconstructed. Archaeological survey in the church uncovered foundations of the Romanesque apse, which belonged to the basilica that dates after 1070.

 

In the previous century, a cemetery was built here, where famous personalities of Czech cultural and political life are buried, among other, musical composers Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák and the world-famous writer Karel Čapek.

On request it is also possible to visit the Vyšehrad catacombs (entrance is not included in the tour price).
