During our walk we will jump to panoramatic boat and take a tour on the river for best photographic view and more details about historical Prague. After this we will visit at contemporary design centre and have a hot drink there. Once we will check Christmas market we will invite you for modern Czech gastronomy lunch with the view on Christmas market.

The journey ends at the main Christmas market place at Old Town square. Our five hour tour include transport from hotel, coffeebreak, lunch, boat tour and great tips for your free time in Prague. Enjoy Prague like a local.

The tour covers the Jewish Quarter with the Klaus, Old-New and Maisel synagogues, St. Nicholas Church, the Old Town Square with the Tyn cathedral, you will be able to visit the Old Town Hall with the historical astronomical clock, ancient winding lanes will take you to the Clementinum library complex, St. Salvatore Church and the Church of St. Francesco of Assisi in the Křížovnické square with the Old Town Bridge Tower. The tour ends on the Charles Bridge that was built during the rule of Charles IV in the second half of the 14the century and is decorated with unique statues.

The tour of the Prague Castle, the seat of Czech kings, begins at the Riding School, leads past the Royal Garden over the Powder Bridge and to the 2nd courtyard with the Chapel of St. Cross. In the 1st courtyard, you can admire its magnificent gate, and then proceed to the 3rd courtyard with the St. Vitus Cathedral. Then you will see the Old Royal Palace, the St. George Basilica, as well as many other gems of Czech architecture. A look-out at the Lobkowitz Palace offers a wonderful view of the Lesser Town and the Old Town.

The tour ends at the foot of the Old Castle Stairway in Klarov.

DEPARTS -- Monday to Saturday at 12:30pm. The tour takes place in the Prague city center, a 6 minute walk from the closest metro station. The exact address of the meeting point and detailed directions are provided with your booking confirmation. The tour ends not far from the meeting point (12 minute walk) and we can point you towards public transport or call you a taxi afterwards.

UNAVAILABLE DATES -- Our food tours will not be running in January and February 2015. Tours will also not be held on Sundays and on Prague National Holidays (approximately 12 days per year). Please check booking page for available dates.

CANCELLATIONS -- Cancellations made 3 weeks prior to the scheduled tour date are fully refundable. Our tours run regardless of weather conditions – rain, hail or shine!

We will visit the over 700 year old part of the Jewish Quarter end its synagogue and the old Jewish cemetery. Also the leaving sights of the past-synagogues in Libeň and in Smíchov are worth seeing. An inseparable part of this tour is also the visit to the new Jewish cemetery in Vinohrady, where Franz Kafka is buried.
